Delete your Chargebook account
You can delete your Chargebook account and everything in it at any time, from the app or by email. Chargebook is developed by Kashish Jain.
Delete it in the app
- Open Chargebook and go to the Settings tab.
- In the account section, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and all its data are deleted straight away, from the cloud and from that phone.
You need an internet connection for this, so the app can reach our servers.
No longer have the app?
Email support@chargebook.in from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm the request is from you, delete the account and its data, and reply within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and email address
- All your vehicles
- All your charging sessions, including costs, stations and notes
- Your settings, such as home electricity rate and currency
What may be kept
- Copies in our database provider's routine backups, for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
- Vehicle models you added to the shared model list (make, model, battery size), no longer linked to you.
If you used the app without signing in, your data only exists on your phone: uninstalling the app removes it.
